It isn’t often that conservative talk show hosts receive the honor of being Knighted. But Wayne Allyn Root, nationally-syndicated host of “Wayne Allyn Root: Raw & Unfiltered” on USA Radio Network, may be the first to ever receive that honor. Root was Knighted on June 5th, 2022 at the star-studded Royal Knighting Ceremony and Gala at The Venetian in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Root was Knighted by Prince Rafael of the Royal House of Cappadocia, one of the oldest Royal Houses in the world. Root is now a Knight in the Royal Order of Constantine the Great and Saint Helen and will forever be known as “Sir Wayne Allyn Root.” Root was Knighted for his notable achievements in Entrepreneurship & Entertainment.
Other notables Knighted at the ceremony included Sir Alec Stern, billionaire founder of Constant Contact; Sir Ray Parker Jr., songwriter for many of the biggest hits in music including “Ghostbusters,” as well as guitarist for The Rolling Stones, Stevie Wonder and Barry White; and Sir Rolando Blackman, former NBA superstar and 4x All Star for the Dallas Mavericks, Olympian, and Congressional Gold Medal winner.
To our knowledge, Root is the only conservative TV or radio talk host to ever be Knighted.
It was Root’s second major honor of the year 2022. Root will also be inducted into “The Nevada Broadcasters Hall of Fame” this Fall.
Root is already a member of “The Las Vegas Walk of Stars” with his 180- pound granite star on Las Vegas Blvd in front of Paris Resort & Casino.
Root said, “God bless America. The American Dream is still alive. Where else can a S.O.B. (son of a butcher) from the wrong side of the tracks, be Knighted and become ‘Sir Wayne Allyn Root,’ as well as be inducted into the Las Vegas Walk of Stars and the Nevada Broadcasters Hall of Fame. That’s one heck of a ‘Triple Crown.’ ONLY IN AMERICA!”
